PURPOSE
This procedure is intended
to determine all environmental aspects,
via a systematic identification process deemed suitable for this organization,
that are being generated from our manufacturing activities. The evaluation that
follows is intended to determine significant
environmental aspects that shall qualify for specific operational attention
in the EMS. This procedure is limited to the intended scope of certification.

3.0       DEFINITIONS
Environmental aspect              Element of an organization’s
activities, products or services that can interact with the environment
Environmental impact             Any change to the environment
whether adverse or beneficial, wholly or partially resulting from an
organization’s environmental aspects.
EMR                                       Environmental Management
Representative appointed by the organization who oversees the compliance of the
organization’s environmental policies and missions.
